New Delhi, December 1 (IANS). Aam Aadmi Party MLA Naresh Balyan, arrested in an extortion case, was sent on two-day police remand by a Delhi court on Sunday. Delhi Police arrested him on Saturday in this case of 2023. Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar has termed the allegations against him as false.
AAP spokesperson told IANS, “Naresh Balyan is the person who always stood by and helped every resident of Uttam Nagar in their happiness and sorrow. Naresh Balyan is a true soldier of Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal. He has been arrested. This was done because he had complained several times that he was receiving death threats. Instead of taking action on the complaint, the BJP got him arrested.
He alleged that Amit Shah ordered his arrest, and the sole motive behind this action was to attack Arvind Kejriwal who was raising questions on the law and order situation in Delhi. But we are true soldiers and our leaders are not afraid of jail. We are confident that in the end we will be proven innocent by the court.”
Priyanka Kakkar further said, “After all, why does every criminal join BJP to seek protection from them. With this arrest, Amit Shah has given only one message that if you complain about extortion, you will be picked up and called a liar.” Will be implicated in the allegations. Imagine, if someone goes to help the victim, will he get justice? This is the law and order of BJP.
