Kota : A case of tampering with the tricolor has come to light during the procession taken out in Anantpura area on the occasion of Eid Miladunnabi in Kota. After the objectionable video of tampering with the tricolor went viral on social media, Hindu organizations protested at Anantpura police station and filed a complaint demanding action. After which the police have also arrested the accused. At the same time, the office bearers of the Hindu organization have staged a sit-in at Anantpura police station and demanded strict action against those who insulted the national flag.
Case filed against unknown persons
During the protest, Kota South MLA Sandeep Sharma also reached Anandpura police station and strongly condemned the entire incident and directed the officials to investigate the matter and take immediate action. Education Minister Madan Dilawar also expressed displeasure over the entire matter and spoke to the DG of Rajasthan and directed to take immediate action. Anantpura police station officer Bhupendra Singh said that after the complaint lodged in this matter, a case has been registered against unknown people. The people who tampered with the tricolor are being identified through video.
Education Minister gave instructions to DG for immediate action
Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar has expressed deep displeasure over the incident of insulting the national flag Tricolour during the Barah Wafat procession in Kota and including the procession with a moon and a star in place of the wheel in the Tricolour. Dilawar said that this indicates a conspiracy against the country. He said that the intentions of those who insult the Tricolour will never be allowed to be fulfilled.
Called DG Utkal Ranjan Sahu
Minister Shri Dilawar immediately spoke to Kota Range Police Inspector General Shri Ravi Dutt Gaur and ordered immediate action after identifying the culprits. He also called the state’s DG Utkal Ranjan Sahu and instructed him to take the matter seriously and take strict action against the culprits.
