Jaipur : Monsoon which was sluggish in Rajasthan has gained speed. Since morning, heavy rains have been going on in many districts including Jaipur. Waterlogging has occurred in many areas, causing problems. Railway tracks have submerged in water in Sikar. Water has started filling in shops. Roads are flooded up to three to four feet. Earlier, heavy rains had occurred in the districts of Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Kota and Udaipur divisions on Wednesday evening. More than 80 mm of water fell in Behror of Alwar. A young woman died due to lightning during rain in Gunti village of Behror. At the same time, after heavy rains in Jaipur on Wednesday evening, roads caved in in many areas including New Sanganer Road, Jhotwara. The Meteorological Center Jaipur has issued a yellow alert, expressing the possibility of thunderstorms and rain today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday). Meteorological Department Director Radheshyam Sharma said that the trough line shifted towards north-eastern Rajasthan. Monsoon will remain active for two days. In the last 24 hours, light to moderate and at some places heavy rains occurred in Jaipur, Alwar, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Bharatpur, Dausa, Tonk, Dholpur, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bundi, Nagaur and other districts.
8 inches of water came in Sahabi river in Alwar district
Due to continuous rain in Alwar district, about 8 inches of water has come in the Sahibi river. There was good rain in the surrounding area as well. Here, water came rapidly in Harsoli and Bahadurpur villages and the fields became full.

Due to continuous rain in Sikar, the railway track got flooded. The nearest road here is Nawalgarh Road, its water also comes towards the railway track. It rained continuously for about an hour on Thursday.
Part of the house collapsed due to rain
Due to the continuous rain in Jaipur, a part of a house built near the wall of Ambedkar Community Hall located near Ghat Ki Guni Tunnel fell down. Due to this, the wall of the community hall got damaged. On receiving the information, the Heritage Corporation team removed the stones from the road.
Potholes suddenly appeared in Jaipur amidst rain
The first good rain of monsoon in Jaipur has exposed the condition of roads. After just a short spell of rain, roads turned into ponds. Potholes developed on roads at many places. Many vehicles got stuck in these. Due to this, people were seen getting troubled in traffic jam on Thursday. Due to the rain on Wednesday night, roads in New Sanganer Road and Malviya Nagar were damaged. At the same time, potholes have also developed on roads in Khatipura, Hasanpura, Raisar Plaza, No. 4 Dispensary, Jalmahal Road, Jhotwara Road, Niwaru Road, Dadi Ka Phatak, Sirsi Road, Kalwad Road areas.
Auto saved from overturning in strong flow of water

A girl returning home with milk was struck by lightning and died
On Wednesday, during rain in Behror, Sapna (20) was standing under a tree when lightning struck her at around 4.30 pm. Sapna, who suffered severe burn injuries, succumbed to her injuries during treatment at around 8 pm.
Sapna was a resident of Gunti village. She was a BA final year student.
Sapna’s cousin Mohit said that his sister was returning home after buying milk from the shop. As soon as she reached near the house, lightning struck the tree. Due to which blood started flowing from her ears and she became unconscious.
He was taken to Behror District Hospital from where he was referred to Alwar District Hospital. After being declared dead by the doctors, the body was handed over to the family after postmortem.

According to weather experts, the monsoon trough line is going to Bihar via Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh.
A cyclonic system is formed over Himachal Pradesh, due to which monsoon winds are active in the Himalayan foothills in northern India.
Due to this, there is a spell of rain in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh along with north-eastern Rajasthan and western parts of Madhya Pradesh.
