Rajasthan : The period of torrential rain has started again in Rajasthan. The state has already achieved the average rainfall figure and now the dark clouds have started scaring. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for all the districts of Rajasthan for 3-6 September. Yellow alert has been issued for all the districts of Rajasthan except Jaisalmer only on 4 September.

Also, an orange alert has been issued in Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Dungarpur, Udaipur, Banswara, Kota, Bhilwara districts. Under this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder at some places. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Sirohi, Ajmer, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Sriganganagar, Jodhpur, Pali, Barmer, Hanumangarh, Baran, Bundi, Pratapgarh, Jhalawar districts.
There will be heavy rain in the coming days
According to the Meteorological Department, the low pressure area currently formed in the Bay of Bengal off the coast of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha has intensified and turned into a low pressure area. Due to this, there is a strong possibility of it moving towards the northwest and turning into a deep depression in the next 36 hours. Due to this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some parts of Kota, Udaipur, Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions of eastern Rajasthan during the next two days.
From 1 June to 1 September, 561.4 MM of rain fell
Meteorological department data shows that from June 1 to September 1, Rajasthan has received 49% more rainfall than normal. The average rainfall during this period of the monsoon season is 376 mm, while this season has received 561.4 mm of rain so far.
