Jaipur : Gupt Navratri (Gupt Navratri 2024) is starting from today. This time Gupt Navratri will be of 10 days. By the way, after Vasantik Navratri, Gupt Navratri lasts till the ninth day of Ashadh Shukla Paksha. But this time Gupt Navratri will be of 10 days. According to mythological belief, there is a provision of worshiping 10 goddesses or 10 Mahavidya in Gupt Navratri. This time, on the first day of Navratri, there is a coincidence of Punarvasu Nakshatra on Pratipada Tithi. In Gupt Navratri, devotees worship to get the happiness of Mother Bhagwati. With auspicious resolution, establishing Kalash in the auspicious Muhurta of Gupt Navratri, keeping a fast, reciting Maa Bhagwati and chanting mantras is considered especially beneficial.
Mother is worshipped in these 10 forms
Ten forms of Maa Bhagwati are worshipped during Gupt Navratri. In the order of worship of the ten forms of Maa Bhagwati, Maa Kali is worshipped on the first day, Maa Tara Devi on the second, Maa Tripur Sundari on the third, Maa Bhuvaneshwari on the fourth, Maa Chhinnamasta on the fifth, Maa Tripur Bhairavi on the sixth, Maa Dhumavati on the seventh, Maa Baglamukhi on the eighth, Maa Matangi on the ninth and Maa Kamala Devi on the tenth day. Worshipping these ten forms of Maa has special significance.
Navratri from 6th July to 15th July
For the worship of Maa Bhagwati, the Kalash is established first. Famous astrologer Vimal Jain tells that this time Gupt Navratri will be from 6th July Saturday to 15th July Monday. The Pratipada Tithi of Ashadh Shukla Paksha will start on 5th July Friday at 4:28 after midnight and will continue till 4:27 after midnight on 6th July Saturday.
Ghat establishment auspicious time
On the first day of Navratri, Ghata Sthapana is done with rituals. The auspicious time for Ghata Sthapana is from 05:11 am to 07:26 am. If you are unable to do Kalash Sthapana in this Muhurta, then Abhijeet Muhurta is from 11 am to 12 noon, do this work in that. It will be auspicious to do Kalash Sthapana in these two Muhurtas. According to the day, Maa Durga is going to come to earth riding a horse. It is believed that when Maa Durga comes riding a horse, there is a possibility of a natural disaster.
Do these remedies in Gupt Navratri
Recite Durga Chalisa and Durga Saptashati in the morning and evening. Offer cloves and batasha as prasad in both the prayers. Offer only red flowers to Maa Durga. Chant Maa Durga’s special mantra ‘Om Aim Hreem Kleem Chamundaye Vichche’ 108 times in the morning and evening. Do not tell anyone about your worship during Gupt Navratri.
Fasting rules of Gupt Navratri
During Gupt Navratri, one should not consume meat, alcohol, garlic and onion at all. Maa Durga herself is a woman, therefore women should always be respected. Maa Durga showers her blessings on those who respect women. There should be no quarrel, hatred or insult in the house during Navratri. It is said that doing so does not bring blessings.
Ashtami will be held at this time on 13th July
Worshiping Maa Bhagwati according to one’s own tradition and religious rules is auspicious and fruitful. Astrologer Vimal Jain says that those who observe fast during Gupt Navratri should keep their daily routine regular and disciplined. Have food in your own house and also avoid unnecessary conversations. Do not sleep during the day. It is considered especially auspicious to worship by lighting an unbroken lamp of pure desi ghee in front of Maa Bhagwati and Kalash, burning incense and remaining silent. To please Maa Bhagwati, the mantra “Om Aim Hreem Kleem Chamundaye Vicche” should be chanted as many times as possible. According to Pandit Vimal Jain, Ashtami Tithi of Ashadh Shukla Paksha will start on 13th July, Saturday at 3:06 pm, which will last till 5:27 pm on the next day, 14th July, Sunday.
