‘NDTV Indian of the Year’ returns again, many celebrities will be honored

New Delhi, December 4 (IANS). ‘NDTV Indian of the Year’ is all set to return with its grand 2024 edition. At the event, celebrities of the country will be honored for their outstanding contributions.

This year this event will be organized in the capital Delhi on 6th December and stalwarts from many sectors will participate in it. Veterans will showcase their talents and achievements.

In this event, Foreign Minister Dr. S. Along with Jaishankar, Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, businessmen like Gautam Hari Singhania, Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Hitesh Doshi will also participate.

Film industry’s brilliant actors Rajkumar Rao, Ananya Pandey and comedian Kapil Sharma will also participate in the event.

This year’s theme of ‘NDTV Indian of the Year’ is, “Celebrating India – Inspiring Excellence”.

The grand jury for this year’s awards includes RP-Sanjeev Yoganka Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Goenka, famous actress Asha Parekh, ad guru Piyush Pandey, former Supreme Court judge Justice A.K. Sikri, former SEBI chairman U.K. Sinha and former Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh. Along with this, Grant Thornton will also be in the role of a consultant assisting the jury.

The event will discuss the diverse talents and achievements shaping the future of the country.

In the previous editions of ‘NDTV Indian of the Year’, many personalities who have reshaped the country with their talent have been honoured. These celebrities include actors Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, India’s G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant as well as tech giant Satya Nadella.

‘NDTV Indian of the Year 2024’, will be telecast live on NDTV Network on Friday, December 6.
