Negligence exposed in Jodhpur MDM, companies do not check equipment on time

Jodhpur : After the death of a burnt woman in the acute care ward of Jodhpur MDM Hospital, questions have been raised on the maintenance system and investigation of the hospital. Here, the family members also staged a protest outside the mortuary in protest against this entire incident. Started demanding proper investigation of the case and action against the culprits. This is not the first case of negligence of equipment in the hospital. Earlier on January 12, a cancer patient had died due to lack of oxygen. Then immediately three employees were APO. After this, the then Principal Dr. Dilip Kachhwaha and Superintendent Dr. Vikas Rajpurohit were removed. But this time the responsibility of any medical staff officer was not even decided.

On information, SDM Pankaj Jain also reached the spot and held talks, but the family remained adamant about their demands. The family said that the hospital administration is not accepting its mistake and the culprits have been given a clean chit in the committee investigation. If fire had started due to smoking beedi, the woman’s body would have been burnt from below. But his shoulder and hand are burnt and the oxygen mask is on fire. The family alleged that an internal committee has investigated the matter.

Administrative committee will investigate

As per the orders of District Collector Gaurav Aggarwal, an investigation committee has been formed in this matter under the chairmanship of Sub Divisional Officer Jodhpur South Pankaj Jain. In this, CMHO city Surendra Singh Shekhawat and Assistant Engineer Naresh Vyas of Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited B-III, Jodhpur will be members of the committee. This committee will submit its report in three days.
