Jaipur : Jaipur Municipal Corporation is going to celebrate its 297th Foundation Day in a special way this time. This year’s event will be based on the theme of Ramrajya and there will be a lot of historical and cultural programs in the city for an entire month. This event will bring a new and wonderful experience for the people of Jaipur. The programs will begin with Maha Aarti at Motidungari Ganesh Temple on November 18, in which hundreds of women will worship Lord Ganesha with 1000 lamps.
There will be an opportunity to showcase the rich culture and religious heritage
Giving information about this event, Mayor Dr. Soumya Gurjar said that this program will be an important opportunity to highlight the rich culture and religious heritage of the city. After the first day’s puja, there will be puja at Gangapol Gate, where the foundation of Jaipur was laid. After this, puja will be organized in Govind Dev Ji temple and lamps will be donated in the entire city, which will further enhance the beauty of the city.
Special cleanliness competition organized
A special cleanliness competition will be organized during the cleanliness week on 21st November. Under this, competitions will be organized at the local level to promote cleanliness in every ward. Mayor Dr. Soumya Gurjar believes that by adopting the principles of Ramrajya in one’s life, a new direction can be given to the city and through this event, Jaipur can be further enriched from the point of view of cleanliness and culture.
