Jaipur : Jaipur will get the state’s largest skill development center on December 11. It has been constructed in an area of about 1 lakh 25 thousand square feet with modern facilities. This building, named after Sohan Singh Smriti Skill Development Center, Laghu Udyog Bharti, is 7 storeyed. Most importantly, a 10-storey rest house has been built for the students in this campus. 170 students can stay in it simultaneously. 500 students can study together. This dream project was planned 6 years ago, but due to Corona it has now been completed. The special thing is that skill courses in more than a dozen subjects will be conducted in it. Except Digital Marketing, all other courses will be of three months duration. At least 10th pass qualification will be required for this course. Admissions have started here. Till now 125 girl students have taken admission. All courses here will be made free. Rs 500 will have to be deposited once for registration. Hostel facility will be free and food facility will be available in the mess at very low rates. Students who have taken training here will be given preference in placement.

Cooperation has been taken from many organizations in raising the budget for planning the skill center project. This work has been completed by raising approximately Rs 35 crore. This building has been constructed with this budget and other facilities have been provided. The MoU of this center has been signed with National Skill Development Corporation and IIM Mumbai.
Incubation center and drone operation training will also be available.
In the centre, skill courses on subjects like entrepreneurship development, apparel and fashion, incubation centre, digital marketing, electric and electronic, drone operation, electric vehicle repair, Artificial Intelligence (AI), handicrafts etc. are conducted in class rooms by experts with modern equipment and facilities. Will be done. The training center will have facilities like audio-video equipped auditorium, conference room, library, canteen, mess, underground parking etc.
Industry requires skilled manpower

Whoever does the course from here will get recognition across the country. Better faculty will be provided for all the courses.
