New law implemented in the state, first case registered in Pali, know what is the whole matter

Jaipur : Now Section 103 of Indian Justice Code will be applied for murder instead of IPC Section 302. The laws which have been in place since the British era have ended after 163 years. If caught stealing less than 5000, the court can also sentence the person to sweep the streets. Actually, the name of the Indian Penal Code has been changed to Indian Justice Code from July 1, 2024 in the country. The first case under the new law has been registered at Sadari police station in Pali district of the state at 10:22 am on Monday. There was a dispute between two people regarding taking out the tractor from the field. Meanwhile, on Monday, CM Bhajanlal Sharma addressed the police, CLG members, police friends and security friends through video conferencing regarding the new changes in the law. During this, he said – justice will be provided soon under the new law.

First case registered in assault

Sadari CI Champaram said that the case was registered by Morkha resident Madanlal. He drives a tractor. On June 30, he went to Sardar Singh’s field, near which is Sumer Singh’s field. Madanlal said that when he took out the tractor from Sumer Singh’s field, he got angry. On Monday morning, he was taking the tractor. During this, Sumer Singh stopped him in the middle of the way and beat him up. Due to this, he suffered head and elbow injuries. The CI said that the case was registered under sections 115 (2), 126 (2), 324 (4) and 324 (5) of BNS, whereas earlier it would have been registered under 323, 341 and 427 IPC.

Here, a case has been filed in Dausa under the new law

Here, a case was registered in Lalsot police station of Dausa under the new law on the complaint of a woman. DSP Uday Singh said that the victim reached her in-laws’ house in the police station area from Delhi at 7 am on Monday. There her two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law came and started throwing her belongings out of the house. When she protested, she was beaten up. The accused snatched her jewellery. During this, the people of the village intervened, otherwise the accused would have killed her. During this, the accused also threatened not to let her live in her in-laws’ house.

The woman reached the police station at 12:30 in the afternoon

DSP told that the widow woman reached Lalsot police station at 12:30 pm. After that, a case was registered under BNS sections at 12:51 in the afternoon. When the woman reached the police station with a complaint, CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s VC was over at that time. Police officers were also present in the police station. As soon as the woman complained, a case was registered under Indian Penal Code sections 115/2, 126/2, 303/2, 74 and 351/2. Earlier, under IPC, this case was a crime under sections 323, 341, 379, 354, 506.

Dausa SP Ranjita Sharma said that new criminal laws have been implemented in the country. For this, all police officers have been instructed through video conferencing. The first case under the Indian Penal Code in Dausa district has been registered in Lalsot police station.

DGP UR Sahu, Commissioner Biju George Joseph and many other officers were present in the VC of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. CM said- From today, a new law has been implemented in the entire state. The interests of the common man are linked to the new law. The victim will get justice soon in the new law. The police will keep informing people about the new laws from time to time. It is the responsibility of all of us to ensure that the victim gets the benefit of this new law.

no justice delayed

Minister of State for Home, Jawahar Singh Bedham said- If justice is delayed, then it is not justice. Therefore, with the new law, justice will be delivered as soon as possible. The central government has understood the pain of the victim, that is why it has brought this law. The police has a big role to play in delivering immediate justice, therefore the police needs to work with great responsibility.
