Jodhpur : Jodhpur The police, which had gone to Mumbai with Ghulamuddin, the main accused in the Anita Chaudhary murder case, left for Jodhpur on Monday. Ghulamuddin had sold his ring to a local goldsmith while he was away in Mumbai. The police arrested the goldsmith and now they are bringing him along to Jodhpur for questioning. On the other hand, Anita Chaudhary’s body remained lying in the AIIMS mortuary even on the 20th day. Anita’s mother is waiting for the last rites. On Monday evening, the twentieth day of Anita Chaudhary’s murder, Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal reached the protest site going on at the Veer Tejaji temple located in Kudi Bhagatasani. Beniwal demanded a CBI investigation into the case and said that many more people were involved in this murder. Anita’s husband has evidence, but the police is ignoring it.
While addressing the people at the protest site itself, Beniwal mentioned the recent incident of independent candidate Naresh Meena slapping SDM Amit Chaudhary during the by-election in Deoli Uniara. Beniwal said that there is no need to keep this matter as Jat-Meena. When Amit was in Nagaur, he had harassed me a lot. Naresh Meena slapped me once, had I been there I would have slapped 3-4. Naresh Meena did my work. Now I will not roam around beating all the time.
