Rajasthan : Despite active monsoon in many parts of the state, most parts of Sikar district are facing severe humidity. Monsoon clouds have camped for the last three days but due to lack of rain, life is completely affected. According to the Meteorological Department, the conditions are favorable for the monsoon to move forward and there is a possibility of moderate rain in many places including Sikar, Churu and Jhunjhunu. Sikar remained cloudy since last night. Coolers and fans failed due to high humidity during the day. People were drenched in sweat throughout the day due to sticky heat. When the weather cleared in the evening, there was some relief. The maximum temperature in Fatehpur was 36.5 degrees and the minimum temperature was 26.5 degrees and the maximum temperature in Sikar was 37 degrees and the minimum temperature was 26.5 degrees.

Heavy rain activities are likely to increase from July 3. There is a possibility of rain in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota divisions from July 3 to 5 and heavy rain at some places. After this, there is a strong possibility of increase in rain activities and arrival of monsoon in some parts of Bikaner in northwestern Rajasthan during July 4 to 6.
