Patna, December 1 (IANS). Union Food Processing Industries Minister Chirag Paswan has said that Congress is not able to understand that the issues it is raising before the public are not in their interest. The public has nothing to do with them.
He said, “The public knows that no power in the world can put the Constitution of India in danger. Yet the Congress talks about saving the Constitution, whereas in reality the Congress itself has put the Constitution in danger and whenever it gets the opportunity Democracy has been weakened. The Congress Prime Minister had imposed emergency in the country in 1975. People laugh at him when he talked about ensuring victory in Haryana. , there also the public supported Congress Was rejected.”
He further said that he used to call his alliance strong in Maharashtra. The public there rejected it. Because, the public has no concern with those who raise these issues. During the Lok Sabha elections he kept saying that the Constitution was in danger. Six months have passed since the new government was formed. Congress should tell me whether the Constitution is in danger.
Congress did not celebrate Constitution Day during its tenure. But celebrating Constitution Day started during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Constitution has been brought in different languages. Being a Bihari, I am proud that the Constitution has been brought in Maithili language. The Constitution was translated into Sanskrit language. We are trying to deliver the Constitution to every home.
On the attack on AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s padyatra, Chirag Paswan has said that you can agree or disagree with someone. But this kind of incident should not happen. I understand that there is a lot of anger among the people of Delhi against Kejriwal. Because the promises made by him were not fulfilled. The people of Delhi have been struggling with water crisis and other fundamental problems. Kejriwal used to say that he will not take a car, he will not take a bungalow. He went against his words. He used to roam around in Ramlila carrying a slip saying that he will fight against corruption. Today he is with corrupt people. The public has made up its mind that this time BJP government will be formed in Delhi.
On the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, Chirag Paswan said that there should be protest against it. There are reports of atrocities on Hindus one after the other. Hindu community is being attacked. We condemn it. We want the attacks happening there to be stopped immediately.
