Jaipur : Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar made a big prediction on Thursday evening regarding the by-elections to be held on 7 assembly seats of the state. He said, ‘Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will win Jhunjhunu assembly seat with maximum votes. The people here have made up their mind. People have seen how the big leaders in Congress call each other worthless. That is why now the people are with BJP.
‘Congress is not a challenge for us’
The BJP minister did not stop here. Apart from Jhunjhunu, he also claimed BJP’s victory on the remaining 6 by-election seats. Dilawar said that Congress is not a challenge to BJP even in Dausa, Deoli-Uniara, Khinvsar, Chaurasi, Salumbar and Ramgarh seats. At present there is a double engine government in Rajasthan and the people are with us. Not only Jhunjhunu, this time lotus will bloom on all the seven seats of Rajasthan by-election. It has become clear from the immense support received from the public that BJP will win with a huge majority.
Dausa becomes hot seat in by-elections
This statement of Madan Dilawar has come at a time when the politics going on in Dausa assembly seat is being discussed the most in the state. From this seat, BJP has made Jagmohan Meena, younger brother of Kirori Lal Meena, its candidate. Whereas Congress has given ticket to Deen Dayal Bairwa and made it its candidate. In a way, Kirori is going among the public and ‘begging’ for votes to make his brother win. On the other hand, Naresh Meena, who was considered close to Sachin Pilot, has rebelled and contested as an independent candidate. Due to this, Congress has also expelled him from the party.
