Jaipur : The most important evidence for the Jaipur Commissionerate Police in the investigation of the interview given by the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, lodged in the Central Jail, on a TV channel through a social media app, is the technical investigation report of the Punjab Police. According to police sources, after one and a half years of the incident, the records are no longer available with the concerned company, whereas the Punjab Police had already obtained the records from the company. Now the investigation officers of Jaipur Police are investigating who met Lawrence Bishnoi during his stay in the jail, who was on duty in the jail, and who were the other people visiting the jail.
Also, information about the prisoners arrested so far in cases of sending mobile phones to jail will be collected and they will be interrogated. Lawrence Bishnoi will be arrested again on production warrant and brought to Jaipur. It is noteworthy that the interview of Lawrence Bishnoi was broadcast on a news channel on 14 and 17 March 2023, when he was lodged in Banthida jail in Punjab. But a few days ago, Jaipur Police arrested Bishnoi on production warrant in the Zee Club firing case and brought him to Jaipur and sent him to Jaipur jail. Punjab Police had claimed that this video was made in Rajasthan, while Jaipur Police had claimed that it was made in Rajasthan. It was said that it would be made in Punjab. On the instructions of Punjab High Court, Punjab Police had registered an FIR in this case. Investigation revealed that the video was made in Jaipur Central Jail, after which an FIR number zero was registered from Punjab and sent to Jaipur for further action in the case. Lalkothi police station is investigating this matter.
