Often, without traffic police, drivers break the rules and run away at intersections or at red lights, but now Jaipur Police has implemented a new system and it has started working from today. Jaipur Traffic DCP Sagar Rana said that this type of experiment is being done for the first time in Jaipur. Drone cameras are being flown so that traffic can be completely monitored. This system is being done with the help of a private company. At present, drones are being flown at Ajmeri Gate and their proximity is so much that they are covering an area of about five kilometers.
Along with the vehicle number of the drivers who break the rules, they are also capturing the model of the vehicle.
DCP said that at present work has been started in Jaipur under this pilot project. As soon as it is successful, it will be implemented in the entire city. It is noteworthy that the traffic in Jaipur city has increased rapidly in the last few years and to control it, policemen have not been recruited in this proportion. Traffic police officers also have to face problems due to the ever-expanding area of the city. In such a situation, VVIP and VIP movement become more difficult. With the help of drones, problems like traffic jams can be known much in advance.
