Jaipur : Development Promotion and Control Regulations will be applicable in all 291 cities of the state. The Urban Development Minister has approved it and the government will release it at the Rising Rajasthan Investment Pre-Summit on October 14. This will save people from the long process of land use change. Approval will be given at the local level as per the prescribed criteria. The process of land conversion and allotment for community facilities, educational medical facilities in cities will also be easier. Municipal bodies, development authorities and urban development trusts will also not need to send the case to the state government. Till now, apart from the five big cities of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bhiwadi, Pali, a long process has to be followed for all such works. Due to this development remains stuck.
It will be easier this way
There will be ease in implementation of master plan, planned development and providing necessary facilities in cities.
The common man will also not be restricted from following the detailed process of land use change.
Minimum technical parameters have been determined so that the environment of that area is not affected.
Local bodies will be able to approve prescribed use without going through the detailed process of land use change.
