The Transport Department extended the period of operation of the cruise on Thursday following the decision taken in the meeting of the District Level Lake Conservation and Development Committee. Now e-cruise can be operated till 11 pm.
Municipal District Transport Officer (Enforcement) said that the Municipal Corporation Commissioner, in a letter written to the District Collector on 7th August and 8th November, requested to extend the timing of operation of double decker cruise in the lake till 11 pm for the purpose of promoting tourism. Was.

In this matter, in the meeting of the District Level Lake Conservation and Development Committee held under the chairmanship of the District Collector on November 25, it was decided to extend the period of operation of cruise boats till 11 pm. It is noteworthy that till now the cruise operations were being operated only till 6 pm or sunset.
The Transport Department has also fixed the period of operation of cruise boat license till 11 pm. State Lake Development Authority Jaipur had given permission to operate double decker cruise boat in Anasagar Lake on 16 December 2022. On which the cruise boat was given license by the Transport Department from 25 July 2024 to 24 July 2025.
Due to non-operation of cruise after 6 pm, tourists including local people were not able to enjoy the view of sunset from the lake and beyond. With the aim of promoting tourism, the corporation administration had requested the District Collector to extend the time period of operation of e-cruise.
