Jaipur : Those soldiers and officers of Rajasthan Police who were waiting for their transfer will now have to wait longer. Because there will be no transfer of police personnel in the state right now. For this, state police chief DGP UR Sahu has sent a letter to all the range IGs and SPs. It is written in the letter that until the government removes the ban on transfers, no one should be transferred.
Rajasthan government has imposed a ban on transfers
In fact, the Bhajan Lal government in Rajasthan has banned transfers, but despite this, transfers are continuing in police departments in many districts and divisions. This is the reason that to stop the transfers in the police department, Director General of Police UR Sahu has written a letter to all the range IGs and district SPs and issued orders not to make transfers without the permission of the police headquarters. According to the order of DGP UR Sahu, now Range IG and Superintendent of Police will not be able to make transfers at their level. There will be a ban on transfers during the time limit of ban on transfers.
Even after the ban, transfers were taking place at IG and SP level.
The DGP has expressed displeasure over transfers taking place in ranges and districts despite restrictions on transfers. In his order, DGP has said that if transfer has to be done in case of extreme necessity, then permission will have to be taken from the competent level along with reasons. It is noteworthy that despite the ban on transfers by the Rajasthan Government, transfers are being made at the level of Range and District SP in the police department in many districts and ranges. When the complaint was lodged at the police headquarters, an order was issued by the Director General of Police.
