Sikar’s Excise DEO Sumersingh Meena said that if more than five people are found drinking alcohol at one place in any hotel, dhaba, restaurant or wedding, birthday party or other event and the liquor is confiscated, then the Excise Department takes action and registers a case. Will do. Not only this, a case will be registered against those involved in illegal liquor business, organizing parties and taking action against them. Common people will also be able to lodge a complaint with the Excise Department against those holding illegal liquor parties.

Excise Commissioner Shivprakash Nakate said that the department’s investigation has revealed that liquor or such liquor from other states is being served indiscriminately in occasionally licensed parties, marriage ceremonies and other events. Their Rajasthan excise duty has not been paid. He said that for serving such liquor and unauthorized transportation, manufacturing and storage of liquor, the department will register a case and take action against the accused. ,
Online license will be available within a few hours
In this regard, Excise Department Commissioner Shiv Prasad has given written instructions that for events held for one day or more in hotel, restaurant, club bar premises, a license to serve liquor will have to be approved from the Excise Department. . He said that tourism and wedding season has brought good business opportunities for everyone. The Excise Department has now started the online process for granting temporary license to serve liquor in one-day or two-day parties or weddings. Temporary license will be given online at minimal fees. Besides, liquor will also have to be purchased from any contract of Excise Department.
