Jaipur : people taking pension wrongly should be investigated. Along with stopping the pension of such people, recovery should be made from them. Nagaur District Collector Arun Kumar Purohit gave these instructions in the meeting of district level officials held in the Collectorate Auditorium on Friday. Also called for investigation report on leprosy and old age pension. The Collector said that the verification work of social security pension should also be expedited. Giving instructions to improve the condition of Anganwadi centres, he asked to make proper arrangements for electricity, water and washrooms at the centres. In the meeting, Joint Director of Agriculture Department, Harish Mehra told that fertilizer is being distributed in the district. All Tehsildars can inform Assistant Director Agriculture Extension Office Merta and Degana for redressal of complaints received in their area. DRD Gangaram of the Cooperative Department said that the work of purchasing and weighing moong at MSP in the district will be completed by the coming week. The Collector asked the officials to inspect the area to resolve the queues and complaints of the farmers during the procurement on MSP, and wherever problems arise, they should try to resolve them immediately.
During the meeting, Subdivision Officer Govind Singh gave information about the Youth Mahotsav. He said that under this, a science fair will be organized at every block and district level, various competitions including story writing, painting, handicraft, dance will be organized. A one-day fair will be organized at the block level. During this, the Collector also released the poster of the Youth Festival. PWD officials informed about the progress of road construction works in the district and sending proposals for the land of Degana Stadium. Assistant Director of Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Ramdayal Manju said that help camps are being organized for liberated nomadic and semi-nomadic castes. The Collector gave instructions to monitor these camps and inspect the survey reports.
