Jaipur : JDA’s enforcement branch on Monday freed 210 encroachments on one side of the road boundary from Government Hostel, Ajmer Road to 200 feet bypass. Action was taken in about 8 km. During this, stairs, platforms and other illegal constructions built on the road boundary were demolished. The action was also opposed by traders at one or two places. JDA enforcement branch’s chief controller Mahendra Sharma said that the first phase of action would be completed by July 30. Meanwhile, the vigilance branch of Heritage Corporation took action at places like Vaniki Path, Ramesh Marg, C Scheme, Suez Farm, Sodala, Vivek Vihar, Metro Station etc.

On July 24, encroachments will be removed from Sanganer Circle to Chordia Petrol Pump Sawai Madhopur broken culvert, on July 25 from Jharkhand Mahadev Tirahe to Tiraha Lata Circle, on July 29 from SMS Hospital to Narayan Singh Circle, Trimurti Circle to JK Lawn to Bangad and on July 30 from Gopalpura Bypass to Rambagh.
