Jaipur : There is good news for the students preparing for competition in the medical field. Approval of medical colleges is being issued with the aim of meeting the shortage of doctors in the country in the coming time. So far, Letters of Permission (LOP) have been issued by the National Medical Commission to more than 33 government medical colleges in many states. In this, maximum 12 Government Medical Colleges of Uttar Pradesh, 8 of Telangana, 5 of Rajasthan, 3 of Madhya Pradesh, 2 of Maharashtra, 1 of Andhra Pradesh, 1 of Assam and 1 of Odisha had received LOP by the time the second round counseling started.

Increase of 150 seats

Thus, 150 Government MBBS seats will be filled by All India candidates and 850 MBBS seats will be filled by State quota candidates.

Counseling will be held in these medical colleges for the first time
