In this, maximum 12 Government Medical Colleges of Uttar Pradesh, 8 of Telangana, 5 of Rajasthan, 3 of Madhya Pradesh, 2 of Maharashtra, 1 of Andhra Pradesh, 1 of Assam and 1 of Odisha had received LOP by the time the second round counseling started.
Increase of 150 seats

Most medical colleges in Maharashtra
Under this, maximum 8 new government medical colleges will be included in Maharashtra, one in Uttar Pradesh and one medical college in Uttarakhand, whose 15 percent seats will be filled through NEET-UG All India Quota third round counselling. 85% seats will be filled through their state counseling process. Thus, 150 Government MBBS seats will be filled by All India candidates and 850 MBBS seats will be filled by State quota candidates.
