Now the Prasad will be tested in these temples of Rajasthan, Bhajanlal Sarkar will run this campaign

Jaipur : The Food Safety Commissionerate, which is unaware of the total number of food traders in the state and refrains from checking the big brand packed food containing dangerous chemicals, will now check the Bhog and Sawamani Prasad offered in big and small temples across the state.
Why were notices issued to the collectors of Rajasthan

In big temples located in different districts of the state, Sawamani and other ceremonies are regularly held, in which Prasad is distributed after offering Bhog. A special inspection and sampling campaign of three to five days will be run for these temples from 23 to 26 September, in which Prasad made in all the temples and various food items made in Sawamani will be checked. After this, these temples will be given a certificate of Bhog. These certificates will be given to 54 temples that have applied for Eat Right Certificate. It has been claimed to give this certificate under the Food Security Act, but permission for this has been sought from the Chief Minister.

Locals are on target, 100 chemicals in packed food are dangerous

Research by the Food Packaging Foundation of Zurich, published in the journal Exposure Science and Environmental Epidemiology, has revealed that more than 3600 chemicals used in food packaging or its preparation are entering the human body. About 100 of these chemicals are harmful to humans. A chemical called bisphenol has also been found among these, which is used to make plastic. This chemical causes hindrance in the production of hormones.

Dirt spreads everywhere

The quality of the bhog prasadi in the temples of the state has always been considered to be of high standard. People accept this bhog according to their faith. Whereas dangerous chemicals are used to keep the packed food sold in the market edible for a long time. The worrying thing is that these packed items are not the target of the Commissionerate team.

The investigation will be done now, the certificate is “permanent”

The shocking thing is that the Commissionerate will conduct a one-time inspection and ensure the quality in future and will also issue the Eat Right Certificate, while the Bhog and Prasad are prepared at different times every day.

Inspect the dirt as well

Along with the quality of the Prasad, the dirt will also be inspected. The religious institutions that have applied for the Bhoga certificate have to be checked for the formalities required to issue the certificate. If any religious institution or trust wants to get its own quality checked, then the inspection will be done on their request during this period.
