Jaipur : In the budget session of Rajasthan Assembly on Saturday, Congress MLA Ratan Dewasi raised the issue of making fake Aadhar cards. He said that in the state, children’s fingerprints are being bought by paying Rs 200 each. Mistakes are being made while making Aadhar cards. Footprints are being taken instead of handprints. After the sting operation, the government has definitely woken up, but action is not being taken quickly in this matter. In such cases, there is a need to form a team and conduct a search operation.
The speaker took cognizance
Speaker Vasudev Devnani also took this demand of Raniwada MLA seriously. While giving instructions to the state government, he said, ‘This issue is very serious. It is directly related to national security. Such Aadhar cards should be investigated. The government is taking it seriously, but there is a need to speed up the action in this direction, so that strict action can be taken against the operators making such fake Aadhar cards. This will provide relief to the public, and the growing courage of such criminals will also be broken. The government should take action in this direction and conduct a search operation.’
Records of the whole year will be checked
After this, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel said, ‘The government has already arrested many accused and put them in jail. Cases have been filed, sent to CBI, and 14 machines have been deactivated. Police and district collectors are active in Barmer, Jalore, Sanchore. Search operations will soon be conducted in entire Rajasthan. During this, all machines will be checked. Who made how many Aadhaar cards in a year, who made them, everything will be checked. Whether they are e-mitra holders or Aadhaar card makers, everyone will be investigated. Whoever is found guilty in this will be given the harshest punishment.’
