Jaipur : Railways may be claiming a comfortable and safe journey in trains, but the complaints of passengers are exposing the claims. In just one month, passengers have lodged 3,551 complaints in Jaipur division alone. In this, the most complaints are about crowding in reserved coaches. In such a situation, more than 100 complaints are being registered every day. Actually, due to monsoon season and many reasons including redevelopment and doubling of stations, the operation of trains in Jaipur division has been badly affected in August. During this time, passengers have had to face a lot of trouble. In such a situation, 3,551 passengers of Jaipur division have lodged complaints to the Railways through Rail Madad portal and helpline number 139, mobile app, e-mail and social sites. In which more than 1,300 passengers have complained about crowding of passengers in reservation coaches, unavailability of seats, other passengers sitting on their seats.
AC is also not working properly
Also, more than 400 passengers have complained about the AC not working properly in the coach, fans not working properly. Apart from these, more than 150 complaints are about lack of water in the toilets of the coach, more than 130 complaints are about the poor condition of cleanliness in the train and stations. Most of the complaints have been made by passengers of long distance trains. Some passengers also sought help during medical emergency on Rail Madad or social sites, while some also complained about bad food and smelly bedroll.

Jaipur Railway Division officials say that all complaints have been resolved 100%. Each complaint has been resolved in an average of 22 minutes.
