Jaipur : Now the journey from Jaipur to Delhi will be completed in just three hours. 67 km long Jaipur-Bandikui four lane Greenfield Expressway connecting Delhi-Mumbai Express Highway. For the construction of long Jaipur-Bandikui four lane Greenfield Expressway, the work of removing more than 250 shops, houses and structures built on unclaimed land in Bagrana village of Jaipur was completed after the persuasion of the district administration. The affected people were also compensated. Southern Ring Road and Jaipur-Agra Highway are to be directly connected to the 6 lane expressway through clover leaf and other structures. Actually, under the project, clover leaf work was to be done on both sides near Bagrana on Agra Road. For this, a total of 265 structures were to be removed. Structure compensation award of Rs 14 crore 54 lakh 86 thousand 622 was issued. The work of Rap 3 and 4 of Clover Leaf was started in April-May 2024. After this, the work of Rap one and two was to be started.
Clover Leaf work will be completed in September
District Collector Prakash Rajpurohit said that for the construction of ramp one and two and loop one and two, 220 residential structures had to be demolished in Pal Colony, Laxmi Market, Chitrakoot Colony, BR Nagar, Panchvati Colony etc. For which compensation was distributed to the concerned interested parties. Additional District Collector (III) Rajkumar Kaswan, Sub-Divisional Officer (Jaipur-I) Rajesh Jakhar, Tehsildar Pushpendra Singh visited the spot and explained to the affected people. After this, the structures were handed over to the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and the process of demolition started. NHAI Manager Pushpendra Singh said that after the cooperation of the district administration and the consent of the affected people, the authority will try to complete the work of clover leaf and ramp by the coming September.

About 80 percent of the work on the 67 km long Jaipur-Bandikui four lane Greenfield Expressway connecting the Delhi-Mumbai Express Highway has been completed. The asphalting of about 56 km of the 67 km long link expressway being built at a cost of Rs 1,368 crore has been completed. With the construction of the expressway, the journey between Delhi and Jaipur will be reduced to three hours. Along with this, there will also be relief from traffic jams at various places.
