Jalore : As per the instructions of Jalore State Government, approval of Rs. 1835.50 lakh has been issued for 529 works in the district under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA Scheme. District Collector Dr. Pradeep K. Gawande said – In the function organized at the state level to commemorate the completion of the first year of the state government, the foundation stone of panchayat nurseries will be laid in 304 gram panchayats of the district, so that the gram panchayats can be made self-reliant for tree plantation in the district.
He said that for the construction of 292 nurseries in 292 gram panchayats of the district, approval of 1004.43 labor items and 471.61 material items, totaling Rs 1462.04 lakh, has been issued. In the same district, approval has been issued for 233 works for personal benefit. In which the amount under labor head is Rs 89.30 lakh and the total amount under material head is Rs 172.25 lakh. The total amount is Rs 264.55 lakh. Approval of a total amount of Rs 108.91 lakh was issued for 9 works of community work. The District Collector said that in order to provide employment as per the demand of workers in the district, approval of a total amount of Rs 1835.50 lakh was issued on 529 works. All development officers have been directed to ensure employment of maximum workers in Panchayat Samitis. So that the incomplete works can be completed on time as per the instructions of the state government.
