Bhilwara : On Sunday evening, on World Remember Day in Bhilwara, students of Nursing College took out a candle march from the Police Control Room to the Information Centre. Through this, tribute was paid to those killed in road accidents.
On this occasion, ambulance operators and helpers of the injured were honoured. The students were also given information about road safety rules, Motor Vehicles Amendment Act, Good Samaritan etc.
The candle march took place from the control room to the information centre, in which the general public also participated enthusiastically. A short film related to public awareness and road safety was also shown by installing LEDs at the information centre.
World Remembrance Day is celebrated every year on the third Sunday of November to pay tribute to the injured and dead victims of road accidents.
