Sikar News Desk: On behalf of Rajasthan State Nurses Association, a memorandum was submitted to the Chief Minister to the District Collector regarding several demands including starting of DPC. Doctors told that Rajasthan High Court had stopped DCP after REET. After which DPC has not been started till date.
DPC is not happening on time
Sikar District President of Nursing Association, Shyamlal Bijaraniyan said – Due to the DPC of nursing workers not being done on time, the nursing workers are retiring on the same post on which they are joining. Anyway, opportunities for promotion of nursing workers are less and that too is not happening on time. Due to this, superintendent and senior senior posts are not being filled. Therefore DPC is very important for administrative system.
Bijaraniyan told- Medical and Health Department had changed the DPC from Nursing Officer to Senior Nursing Officer on 23 January 2023. After this, some personnel had filed a writ in the High Court regarding wrong DCP and review DPC. As a result, the posting list of senior nursing officers was stopped.
After this, the Medical and Health Department did not give any reply in the court due to which no decision was taken. Due to court stay, DPC of about 40 thousand nursing workers of nursing cadre is stalled. It is requested to the government that the Medical Department should quickly give a proper reply to REET and get the court stay removed and release the posting list. Only after which the nursing workers will get relief.
