Hanumangarh : Shri Annapurna Spiritual Seva Samiti, working under the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign, distributed nutritious food kits to the mother of the newborn on the birth of a daughter in two families in ITI Basti and Nai Abadi, two in KNJ. Distinguished citizens and villagers were present in the programs organized at both the places.
On the encouragement of the committee officials, both the families also played thali in celebration of the birth of a daughter. Everyone appreciated this initiative of the committee. Committee member Sheeshpal told that in Gram Panchayat 2 KNJ, nutritious food kits are distributed to the families where a daughter is born, for the mother of the new born. So far, in the last five years, nutritious food kits have been distributed to many families.
Along with this, this event is also sending a message to the society that daughters should be given as much importance as sons. Give higher education to the daughters so that one day they too can stand on their feet and bring glory to their parents. This event will continue in future also.
