Objection to Barmer District Collector Tina Dabi’s Nav Barmer campaign

Barmer : In the last meeting of Barmer Municipal Council Board, the ruling party and the opposition made allegations and counter-accusations against each other. Councilors objected to Collector Tina Dabi’s Nav Barmer campaign.

In the meeting, MLA Priyanka Chaudhary said – The file in the Municipal Council was burnt and disappeared. When investigation comes, documents are not found. Even the FIR was not registered. He claims that 20 thousand pattas were issued, the answer to the question in the Assembly was that 4 thousand pattas were given. If all the investigations had been done then leave alone Rs 100 crore, not even a single rupee would have been misappropriated. Chaudhary said that the then MLA (Mevaram Jain) had said in the House that the most corrupt municipality is Barmer.

The meeting was held in the Ambedkar Bhawan of the Municipal Council under the chairmanship of Barmer-Jaisalmer MP Ummedram Beniwal and the chief hospitality of Barmer MLA Dr. Priyanka Chaudhary and in the presence of Municipal Council Chairman Deepak Mali. The issue of corruption in the city council dominated the meeting.

Councilor Mahavir Bohra said that Rs 1.25 crore is a huge amount for the Municipal Council. On this the ruling party and the opposition came face to face. There was a heated argument between the councilor and the leader of the opposition. Leader of Opposition Prithviraj Chandak said that identify those embezzling money, why are you afraid. Who did the scam and who did it? Somewhere you people have the intention of doing politics. There was an uproar when the Leader of Opposition called the councilors poor.
