Jaipur : The festival of Gupt Navratri will be celebrated across the country from July 6. Nine forms of Goddess Durga will be worshiped. During this time, the importance of bhog is as much as the importance of worship. It is believed that if bhog is offered to the deities according to their taste, then the deities are very happy and fulfill the wishes of the person soon. The nine goddesses of Navratri are considered to be the symbol of nine different powers. If you also want to fulfill your wishes, then offer different bhogs for 9 days.
Talking to Local 18’s correspondent, Devghar’s famous astrologer Pandit Nandkishore Mudgal said that four Navratri festivals are celebrated in a year, which also includes the Gupt Navratri of the month of Ashadh. This Navratri is known for Tantric Sadhana. During Gupt Navratri, Tantriks and Sadhaks use special mantras and tantras. So that the native can get the special grace and blessings of the goddess. However, common people also worship Goddess Durga. Bhog also has a special significance in worship. Bhog should be offered to the gods and goddesses according to their taste.
Offer different types of bhog to goddesses
In the Gupt Navratri of Ashadh, Maa Shailputri is worshipped on the first day, but for Tantric Sadhana, Goddess Kali is worshipped. Offer sweets made of ghee in this.
On the second day, Maa Brahmacharini is worshiped, but for Tantric Sadhana, Maa Tara is worshiped, in this offer sweets made of milk.
On the third day, Maa Chandraghanta is worshipped, but for tantric sadhana, Tripura Sundari is worshipped. Offer Panchamrit on this day.
On the fourth day, Kushmanda Devi is worshipped, but for Tantric Sadhana, Bhuneshwari Devi is worshipped. Offer Malpua as Prasad on this day.
On the fifth day Skandmata is worshipped, but for tantric sadhana, Mata Chhinnamastika is worshipped. Offer bananas on this day.
On the sixth day, Goddess Katyayani is worshipped, but for Tantric Sadhana, Goddess Tripura is worshipped. On this day, offer sweets made from jaggery.
On the seventh day, Maa Kalratri is worshipped, but for Tantric Sadhana, Maa Dhumavati Devi is worshipped. Offer sweet water on this day.
On the eighth day Mahagauri is worshipped, but for tantric sadhana Mata Baglamukhi Devi is worshipped. Offer coconut laddus as prasad on this day.
On the ninth day, Siddhidatri is worshipped, but for tantric sadhana, Matangi Devi is worshipped. Offer saffron on this day.
On the last day, Mata Kamala is worshipped. On this day, offer kheer, puri and halwa.
Gupt Navratri is important not only for tantric practices but also for common devotees. Common devotees can worship the nine forms of Mata Devi and offer bhog for nine days.
