Sawai Madhopur : Ranthambore Tiger Reserve of Sawai Madhopur holds its place in the tourism world map. Keeping in view the convenience of tourists, Sawai Madhopur will soon be connected with air connectivity. Airport Authority of India officials have also started planning in this regard.
Under the National Airport Development Plan 2047, 33 airstrips in Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh will be developed. These include 14 airstrips of Rajasthan. Sawai Madhopur is also included in these 14 airstrips of Rajasthan. The airstrip located at Chakchainpura in Sawai Madhopur has been identified under the National Airport Development Plan 2047.
