District level educational conference of Jaipur : Radhakrishnan Teachers Association and Shiksha Sena was held at Vinoba Gyan Mandir. In this, an open forum was organized for the teachers, in which they expressed their problems. Jaipur District President Kailash Sain told the problems related to education, interests of teachers and students. Asked to submit a memorandum to the government through the organization.
Also, many demands were raised including keeping the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) intact, transparent transfer policy, filling vacant posts in schools, removing salary discrepancy and posting surplus teachers on vacant posts.
The previous Gehlot government had implemented the system of giving OPS instead of NPS to those who joined government jobs after January 1, 2004. After the implementation of OPS, deductions from officers and employees were stopped.
