Ajmer : Senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party and former Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Rajendra Rathore said on Sunday that whatever decision of the court will be taken in the Ajmer Dargah Sharif case, everyone will have to accept it. Speaking to reporters at the Circuit House in Ajmer, Rathore said, “It would not be appropriate to take the Ajmer Dargah Sharif case forward now.” Everyone will have to accept the decision of the court. Until any case reaches the hearing stage. It is premature to say anything.” He said that in a short period of 11 months, while the government has maintained proper law and order, on the other hand it has worked to convert the dreams of the people into reality. Rathore said that Rajasthan Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Bill-2024 has been approved in the cabinet meeting. This bill was awaited for a long time.
Bhajanlal government has taken a historic decision
Rathore said that through an ordinance, the state government has tightened the noose on individuals and institutions who convert to religion illegally and fraudulently. If a marriage takes place after fraudulent religious conversion, under this law the courts will have the power to void it. Rathore said that Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is creating an environment of competition everywhere along with investment environment in Rajasthan by taking policy decisions. He said that the government has taken many historic decisions in the cabinet meeting. Rathore, in response to the question of allegations being leveled against the government by the opposition, said that how the ‘double engine’ government of Rajasthan has ruled the hearts and minds of the people. Came out in the form of results of by-elections. In such a situation, the results of the by-election are also an answer to the objections of the opposition.
Congress did not implement

He said that after this the Congress government did not implement this bill but now the ‘double engine’ government of BJP has taken a historic decision by getting this bill approved by the cabinet. He said that a provision has been made in this bill that if someone converts religion by using greed, allurement, fear, fraud, force or undue influence, then strict legal action will be taken against him. He said that this law is needed not only in Rajasthan but in the entire country. He said that there is no violation of any person’s freedom anywhere in this law, if a person voluntarily converts his religion then he can easily do so through a process by informing the District Collector.
