Jaipur : Preparations are in full swing in Rajasthan for Lord Krishna Janmashtami. Temples have been decorated in a grand manner at various places. According to the information, Lord Krishna will be adorned with a watch worth Rs 2.50 lakh on the occasion of Janmashtami in Gopinath temple. On the other hand, special preparations have been made in view of the devotees coming to other temples including Govind Dev Ji temple. In view of the crowd coming to the temples of Jaipur, the traffic police has appealed to cooperate with the police in maintaining the law and order.
The temple is decorated grandly
Apart from Jaipur, thousands of devotees have reached Nathdwara, the main temple of Pushti Marg, to see Krishna’s birth. Heavy rains are also not able to dampen the enthusiasm of the devotees. The temple has also been decorated like a bride to welcome Shri Krishna. Apart from the devotees reaching for Shrinathji’s darshan, a crowd of pilgrims going to Ramdevra is also seen. All the hotels, dharamshalas and guest houses in the city are full.
Guidelines issued for Govind Dev Ji temple
The traffic pressure on the roads has also increased. In view of the huge crowd on the occasion of Janmashtami in Jaipur, the police has issued a traffic advisory. Jaipur Police said that Janmashtami will be celebrated with great enthusiasm on Monday, 26 August. Crowds of devotees will start gathering in the temples of Jaipur from the morning itself. Devotees are requested to cooperate with the police in maintaining the law and order by following the guidelines of Govind Dev Ji temple premises.
Thakur ji will be given 21 gun salutes
According to the information, Lord Krishna will be adorned with a watch worth Rs. 2.50 lakhs in Gopinath temple. At the same time, 21 gun salutes during the birth at 12 midnight in Nagdwara Shrinathji temple is a special attraction for the devotees. Parking arrangements have also been made by the police and administration. Adequate arrangements have also been made by the temple board. Members of the Tilakayat family of the temple have also reached Nathdwara.
