On the ban on burqa in Switzerland from January 1, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said, ‘This is an era of change and women empowerment’

Begusarai, 14 November (IANS). Union Minister Giriraj Singh, reacting to the Swiss government’s announcement of banning the burqa from January 1, said on Thursday that today is the era of change and women empowerment. Women empowerment is happening not only inside India but also outside India.

Union Minister Singh, who reached Begusarai, said that there is a movement against burqa in Islamic countries all over the world. But, due to fundamentalists, a new culture has started inside India. Even in institutions where burqa was never worn earlier, it has now started.

He said that why should it not happen, when a religious leader like Madani says that he will take to the streets with five lakh people. If Tauqeer Raja says that I will surround Delhi, Owaisi says that I will tell in 15 minutes, Abid says that Pakistan extends till Lucknow, that means law has no meaning.

Begusarai MP said, “Vote traders have created an atmosphere of terror in the country. That is why here too we are forced to wear burqa. Some people are trying to intimidate 100 crore Hindus in India. Vote traders will be seen standing with him, be it Rahul Gandhi or Lalu Yadav.

During this, Singh strongly attacked the statement of the Karnataka Chief Minister, in which he had claimed that the BJP had offered Rs 50 crore each to 50 Congress MLAs to topple his government. Union Minister Giriraj said, the Chief Minister of Karnataka himself is involved in corruption. They have crossed the limits of shamelessness. Appeasement has reached its peak in Karnataka. If reservation is given to Muslims in the tender then it will be a bigger misfortune.
