Jaipur News Desk: In conjunction with Ravi Yoga and Amrit Siddhi Yoga, today on the last full-time Guru Pushya Yoga of the year, Panchamrit Abhishek of the first revered Lord Gajanan was performed in Ganesh temples across the city and he was made to wear new attire. On this occasion, beautiful decoration of Lord Ganesha was also done. After offering Modak, Prasad and Raksha Sutra were distributed to the devotees. After this, Ganeshji was seated in the flower bungalow. There was also a crowd of people outside the temples to worship the new vehicles.

Lord Gajanan was anointed with 151 kg milk, 11 kg curd, 2.25 kg ghee, 11 kg bada and honey in the presence of Mahant Kailash Sharma at Moti Dungri Ganeshji temple. After that, bathing was done with rose water, Kewra water and Ganga water. Modaks were offered to the Lord after making him wear new clothes. Ganeshji’s milk anointment was performed amidst the chanting of Veda mantras in the Shwet Siddhi Vinayak Ganeshji temple located in Surajpol market. Havan was performed for the attainment of Mahalakshmi in the presence of temple Pt. Nalin Sharma. After this, moong laddus were offered and prasad was distributed to the devotees.

Panchamrit Abhishek of Lord Ganesha was performed with Shri Ganpati Atharvashirsha and Shri Ganpati Ashtottarashat Namavali in the presence of Mahant Pt. Jai Sharma in the Ganeshji temple of the right side canal located on Brahmapuri Mount Road. After this, new clothes were worn and makeup was done. Dugdhabhishek of revered Ganesh ji was done in Chandpol Parkota Ganesh Temple. The flower bungalow tableau was decorated in new costumes. Modaks were offered to the first worshiper from Ganesh Sahasranamavali after reciting Ganapati Atharvashirsha.
