Speaking to IANS, Sawant said, “First of all, we pray to God that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s health gets well soon. The hard work he has done in the last two and a half years is praiseworthy. He said, “BJP is saying that the party which has more MLAs should make the Chief Minister, then Chief Minister Shinde has always supported this decision. He said that if the post of Deputy Chief Minister is offered to him, So his party should get the Home Ministry, because in the previous government this ministry was with the BJP.”

He said, “Everything is going well between the BJP and its allies. Opposition parties can make allegations, but we respect the majority that the public has given us.
