New Delhi, January 9 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party MP Jagannath Sarkar on Wednesday targeted Trinamool Congress Party’s support to Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi Assembly elections.
On AAP’s support to TMC, BJP MP Jagannath Sarkar said, “Thieves are cousins. All thieves will be one, this is a natural thing, nothing new.” In Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party has supported Anna Hazare. Started politics by looting money. All the stealing parties in West Bengal are part of ‘Indi alliance’. are, but some of them look different on the face.”
Taking aim at Mamata Banerjee’s statement that there was illegal infiltration in West Bengal with the help of BSF, the BJP leader said, “Mamata Banerjee twists the matter in the wrong direction to hide her wrongdoing. If any woman was tortured in West Bengal. Yes, she remembers the illegal infiltration there, she has been doing this politics for a long time. This is not a new thing. Kind of belongs to Mamata Banerjee and TMC.”
In fact, in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, the two main constituents of the opposition ‘Indi’ Alliance, ‘Congress’ and ‘AAP’ are fighting against each other. At the same time, after the announcement of election dates by the Election Commission, two other important constituents of the alliance, Trinamool Congress Party and Samajwadi Party have supported Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
It is noteworthy that the Election Commission has announced the dates of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, in a press conference on Tuesday, announced that voting for 70 assembly seats of Delhi will be held in a single phase. He said that voting for all the seats will be held on February 5, while its results will be revealed on February 8.
