Jaipur : A woman who was a victim of the famous kidney scandal of Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan during the month of May, died today after about two and a half months of treatment. The woman was being treated at SMS Hospital in Jaipur. Her body will probably be brought to the village by Monday morning. Let us tell you that in Dr. Sanjay Dhankhar Hospital, the woman’s healthy kidney was removed in place of her damaged kidney.
The doctor carelessly removed the right kidney
According to the information, Dr. Sanjay Dhankhar operated on Eid Bano, a resident of Nuan, at Dhankhar Hospital in Jhunjhunu district headquarters. In which he had to remove Eid Bano’s infected kidney, but without a urologist and anesthesia, Dr. Dhankhar carelessly operated and removed Eid Bano’s healthy kidney instead of the infected kidney, due to which Eid Bano’s health deteriorated further.
Dr. Sanjay Dhankhar has already been arrested
When Dr. Dhankhar came to know about this, he also tried to lure the family with money, but it did not happen. The administration also came into action after the matter came to light. On one hand, Eid Bano’s treatment was going on in Jaipur, on the other hand, the police arrested Dr. Sanjay Dhankhar. Currently, Dr. Dhankhar is in jail. His bail plea has been rejected by the District and Sessions Court.
The woman underwent surgery on May 15
Her petition is still being heard in the High Court, but no decision has been taken. Meanwhile, Eid Bano died on Sunday in Jaipur’s SMS Hospital. Eid Bano is a resident of Nuan village in Jhunjhunu, who had undergone an operation at Dhankhar Hospital on May 15. The medical department team had investigated Dr. Dhankhar, in which several allegations were made in the report, including negligence in treatment, performing the operation without a urologist and anesthesia, not following the biowaste law in disposing of the kidney after removing it.
