One accused arrested with drugs in Sriganganagar

Sriganganagar : Police arrested a criminal with 360 drug capsules in Riddhi-Siddhi Colony of Padampur in Sriganganagar district on Sunday evening. The accused is a resident of village 18 Bibi of this area. Actually, the police got information about a criminal having intoxicating capsules in Riddhi-Siddhi Colony of the town. On this, ASI Mahendra Kumar was sent to the spot. As soon as the police reached the colony location where the young man was standing, the young man present at the spot got scared. On this the police stopped him and searched him. 360 drug capsules were recovered from him.

Accused Bindra Singh son of Gyan Singh told that he is a resident of village 18 Bibi. The police brought him to the police station. His intention behind bringing the intoxicating capsules is being ascertained. It is also being ascertained from where he has brought these intoxicating capsules. Drug trade has increased considerably in Padampur of the district. In the past too, many cases of intoxicating capsules being seized have come to light here.
