Jhunjhunu : A shocking news came out from Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan on Thursday morning. Here a person died due to horse fly attack. The doctor of Surajgarh CHC confirmed this after examination. About 6 people have become victims of this attack of horse flies, who are currently undergoing treatment in the CHC. All of them had called the ambulance from Dhani of Jhajharia. Since then he is admitted in CHC only.
Died in Surajgarh CHC
Doctor Naresh Kumar told that the people who were harvesting crops in the fields were attacked by horse flies this morning. After this, Jeevan Jyoti ambulance was called to the spot. Within no time, the ambulance reached there and took 6-7 injured people and got them admitted to Surajgarh CHC. One person died during treatment here. The remaining injured are undergoing treatment.
Flies are the size of bumblebees
Horse flies are known for their painful bites. This is a large species of dark colored flies, approximately the size of a bumblebee. The bite of a horse-fly causes a cut instead of a hole in the skin like that of a mosquito, hence it is painful. These flies are usually found around horse stables, rivers, swamps and wooded areas.
