Alwar : Alwar District Collector Dr. Artika Shukla is in the news. The reason is coffee and elections…. A campaign called ‘Collector with Coffee’ was started before the elections and people are participating in it. In this campaign, by giving correct answers to some questions, you are getting a chance to have coffee with the collector. This campaign has been started to increase maximum voting percentage in elections. It is also getting good response. Actually, by-elections are to be held on seven assembly seats of Rajasthan on 13th November. These include Ramgarh assembly seat of Alwar district.
Since the Collector is the highest administrative officer of the district, hence he has a lot of responsibility, especially at the time of elections. In such a situation, Alwar Collector had started a quiz to increase maximum voting percentage in the elections. In this, about 150 questions related to elections were asked. A fixed time has been kept to answer these questions. If people give as many correct answers as possible in this stipulated time, they get a chance to have a drink with the collector. These questions can be seen by visiting the department’s site.
The good thing is that any ten questions can be selected from these 150 questions. If someone gives nine or more correct answers then he gets gold category. If he answers eight questions correctly, he gets a silver category certificate and if he answers seven questions correctly, he gets a bronze category certificate. A large number of people are applying in this quiz but very few are able to reach gold. The top five people in this category will get a chance to have coffee with Collector Artika Shukla. For this a call will be made from the collector office itself.
