Ajmer : Ajmer Air pollution is at its peak in Delhi. The Delhi government has imposed several restrictions from Monday. Our city has also been in the grip of pollution for the past several days. As winter progresses, AQI levels are increasing. AQI in Ajmer was 155 on Monday. According to reports published in medical journals, this level of pollution shows that every citizen of Ajmer is facing the same amount of damage to one’s lungs caused by smoking two and a half cigarettes a day. If seen, the harm to health is equivalent to smoking about 17 cigarettes in a week and about 72 cigarettes in a month. According to the data related to the Meteorological Department, there was considerable relief in air pollution till last month. With the beginning of November or the beginning of winter, the level of pollution in the air has increased.
AQI was recorded at 190 on November 2 and 197 on November 5. One got 167, three got 129, four got 137, six got 156, seven got 142, eight got 132, nine got 117, ten got 143, eleven got 146, twelve got 107, thirteen got 96, fourteen got 107, fifteen got 104, sixteen It was 133 on 17th November and 107 on 17th November.
Patients increased in hospitals
As winter has increased, the number of patients in hospitals has increased. Apart from cold and fever, there is a queue of patients in the respiratory disease department. In such a situation, patients are being advised to wear masks, wear warm clothes, consume hot water and avoid leaving the house unnecessarily.
Highest pollution in Delhi, lowest in Bengaluru
If we look at the data of air pollution in metropolitan cities on Monday, Delhi was the most polluted. The AQI level here was 742, while the lowest was 51 in Bengaluru, 110 in Kolkata, 107 in Ahmedabad and Chennai, 90 in Mumbai, 80 in Hyderabad and 65 in Pune.
