Mumbai, December 8 (IANS). Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray on Sunday expressed his views on the notices received by farmers from Waqf Board, EVMs and Hindutva in Latur.
Regarding the notice received by the Waqf Board from the farmers in Latur, Shiv Sena UBT Legislative Party leader Aditya Thackeray said that this is a serious issue.
Regarding Hindutva, he said, “Our Hindutva is different. Our Hindutva is going to work with Ram in the heart and hands. Our Hindutva is going to take everyone along.”
On raising questions on EVM (Electronic Voting Machine), he said that this topic is creating doubt on the election results. The Election Commission is ignoring the public by working at the behest of the BJP.
He said that the Election Commission should give a clear answer on this and not just make criticisms. Shiv Sena, UBT and allies had protested for a day and now they have become MLAs and are busy in their work.
However, he also said that this movement is not over yet. This will be a long lasting movement. He demanded voting through ballot paper from the Election Commission and said that his party should get the right to do so.
He raised the question as to what percentage of votes were vetted in the elections and raised the question whether such a major vetting has ever taken place in the history of the Election Commission. After this he talked about laughing and joking.
He said that if people want to joke then they can go to Kapil Sharma show, but seriousness should be shown in the matter of elections.
On the conflict between Maha Vikas Aghadi and Samajwadi Party, Aditya Thackeray said that these election issues come up from time to time.
He clarified his vision of Hindutva and said that his Hindutva is only the Hindutva that burns the stove at home, which believes in working and talks about taking people of all religions together.
