Raipur, 23 November (IANS). Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Vijay Sharma on Saturday reacted to Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Raipur South assembly by-elections.
Responding to the Raipur South Assembly by-election, the Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh has said that the counting of votes is still going on. I want to say clearly that we will win this seat with good votes. Everyone knows the position of Congress.
On the initial trends coming in Jharkhand, the Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh has said that I had also got the responsibility of some seats. I just want to say that where I was given the responsibility, BJP is winning at least 5 seats. Counting of votes is going on in the rest of Jharkhand. Wait a bit, the situation will become clear.
On the question of formation of Mahayuti government in Maharashtra, Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh has said that the people of Maharashtra have given majority to Mahayuti. We are forming the government there. I want to say that the BJP government works diligently. BJP governments win the hearts of the people.
On Congress raising questions on EVMs, the Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh has said that when their government was formed in Chhattisgarh, Congress had not raised questions on EVMs. When we lose, we raise questions on EVMs, because the blame for the defeat has to be laid somewhere. That’s why Congress chooses EVM.
On the killing of 10 Naxalites by security forces in Chhattisgarh, the Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh said that I can say with confidence that by 2026, Naxalites will be completely wiped out from Chhattisgarh.
