Jaipur : Counting of votes has started at 8 am today at the district election headquarters related to the by-elections of Jhunjhunu, Ramgarh, Dausa, Deoli-Uniara, Khinvsar, Salumber and Chaurasi assembly constituencies. About one thousand employees are engaged for counting votes on a total of 98 tables. Counting of votes from EVM machines will start at 8.30 am. There will be a total of 141 rounds of counting of these votes. Counting of EVM votes will be completed in 22-22 rounds in Jhunjhunu and Salumber, 21 rounds in Ramgarh, 20-20 in Deoli-Uniara and Khinvsar and 18-18 rounds in Dausa and Chaurasi.
In such a situation, it is believed that the results of Dausa and Chaurasi may come first, whereas the results of Jhunjhunu and Salumber are likely to come last. The first result may come between 1 to 2 pm and it is estimated that the counting of votes will be completed by 4 pm.
