Bharatpur : After the monsoon rains, the outbreak of seasonal diseases has started increasing. A large number of people are falling prey to seasonal diseases. The number of outdoor patients has suddenly increased in RBM, the largest hospital of Bharatpur division. Patients are seen everywhere in the hospital. There is a long queue of attendants of patients at the prescription counter. Patients are seen standing in line, waiting to see the doctor. After the rains, the problem of waterlogging has arisen at many places. Waterlogging has provided a suitable environment for mosquitoes to breed. Before the rainy season, the number of outdoor patients in RBM Hospital was 1200-1300. Now the number of outdoor patients has crossed 2000. Due to increase in the number of patients, the burden on doctors has increased. Doctors say that the body temperature is deteriorating due to heat during the day and cold at night. The immunity of patients suffering from viral fever is found to be low. Due to change in weather, the risk of viral fever, cold and cough increases.
Increased outbreak of seasonal diseases
Doctors said that in the last one week, there has been an increase in the number of patients outdoors due to seasonal diseases. The circulatory system of the body is deteriorating due to cold and heat. Superintendent of RBM Hospital, Dr. Nagendra Singh Bhadauria has said that the number of patients has increased as compared to previous days. Last day, 272 patients were admitted to the hospital. In the investigation of 207 patients, 5 dengue cases were found. It is a matter of relief that no dengue patient is serious.
He told that more patients of cold, cough and viral fever are coming for treatment. The daily number of patients in OPD has crossed two thousand. All the doctors are busy taking care of the patients. The process of investigation is going on in the lab. Free medicines are available for the patients in the hospital. Patients will not be allowed to face any kind of problem. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Gaurav Kapoor said that adequate arrangements have been made for the prevention of dengue in the district. There has been waterlogging at many places due to rain. Anti-larva spraying is being done by the medical department.

A total of 103 dengue patients were treated last month. From October 1 to October 4, dengue has been detected in only 4 patients. Overall the dengue situation is under control. The medical department is on alert against seasonal diseases including dengue. Doctors have suggested measures to prevent seasonal diseases. In view of the change in weather, drink cold water and avoid eating outside food. Do not get up from the AC and go out immediately.
